AUSX Announces Expanded Investment with New Privateer Championship and Enhanced Support Resources
New Privateer Championship Prize Pool, 20% increase in prize money, up to 25% reduction in Entry Fees and an all-new competitor portal.
The Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship presented by Monster Energy has unveiled the next phase of its 2026 competitor program, headlined by the launch of the inaugural AUSX Privateer Championship, plus a 20 per cent increase in championship prize money for all rounds, up to 25% reduction in Entry Fee’s and the rollout of the new Rider Portal, and further details surrounding its expanded Rider Support Program and Content Rewards Program.
The latest initiatives are designed to reduce barriers to competition, create new earning opportunities and encourage riders, businesses, partners and fans to play an active role in growing Australian Supercross and supporting its competitors.
A New Opportunity for Australia’s Privateers to Earn
Headlining the announcement is the launch of the inaugural AUSX Privateer Championship; a standalone season-long championship for Australia’s leading self-funded riders competing across the SX1 and SX2 classes.
Running in parallel to the Boost Mobile AUSX Supercross Championship and Australian Supercross Championship points, the Privateer Championship gives privateer riders their own title to chase across all five events while recognising the commitment, determination and sacrifice required to compete at the highest level.

The championship prize pool is backed by a minimum $30,000 investment from AUSX Events, however in a brand-new initiative, is also open for all fans, competitors and businesses alike to contribute to and further increase riders earning potential.
Contributions big and small will be recognised via a running total and supporters leaderboard throughout the season. Every dollar contributed, will go towards increasing the value of the prize pool and go directly into the pockets of privateer racers that compete in all-five rounds. Importantly, if less than 15 privateers compete in all five rounds, the pool is distributed by the same ratio, to those that do.

In addition, AUSX has increased championship prize money by 20 per cent across all classes and reduced Entry Fee’s by almost $100 per round, per round. The increase in prize money has intentionally been weighted towards the 11-18th positions, ensuring all point scorers are generating important funds to support their racing program.
Building on the Rider Support Program
Further to the Privateer Championship, Prize Money and reduced Entry Fees for 2026, AUSX has today released further details around the broader set of initiatives available to competitors throughout the 2026 season, including:
- AUSX-managed freight between all championship rounds at a reduced fee
- Secure transport crates supplied by AUSX at no cost
- Discounted accommodation offers for series competitors
- Marketing and sponsorship support resources and ongoing guidance for riders and teams
New Ways to Earn Beyond Race Day
Alongside the Rider Support Program, AUSX has introduced the new Content Rewards Program, to help give real earning opportunity to reward riders for creating engaging content throughout the season.
The initiative encourages riders to build their personal brand, connect with fans and create new commercial opportunities, while rewarding those who actively help promote the championship through authentic content, with up to $10,000 per approved rider, up for grabs.
A New Rider Portal
To further improve the competitor experience, AUSX has also launched an all-new Rider Portal, providing riders with a central hub to manage every aspect of their championship participation.
The portal allows competitors to reserve their series accreditation, access supplementary regulations, complete entries, manage championship communications, view their race history and championship standings, track prize money and payouts, register for rider initiatives and access key information throughout the season.
