Joe Rascal Racing Joins AusX Supercross in 2026

Joe Rascal Racing is set to enter a new chapter in 2026, officially joining the Australian Supercross Championship (AUSX) with a two-rider team led by Team Principal Brett “Metty” Metcalfe.
Following the team’s growing presence across both road and desert racing, Joe Rascal Racing will take on the highly competitive world of Australian Supercross for the first time in 2026, bringing its distinctive approach to racing and performance to the dirt on the all-new Ducati Desmo450 MX.

We’ve taken on the desert with Callum Norton and pushed ourselves on the road with Archie McDonald, Eric Granado and Jordi Torres. Now, we’re ready for our next challenge: Supercross.

Metty, Team Principal Comments: I can’t wait to showcase Joe Rascal Racing and the Ducati Desmo450 MX under the lights of Supercross. I’ve always loved Supercross, and developing my skills through the Australian Supercross scene early in my career played a huge role in paving the way for my 14-year AMA career. Australia has an incredible depth of talent and so much to offer through this championship, so we’re thrilled to be a part of it.
Both Matt and Dylan are exciting riders to watch. They’re established names in Australian racing, they’ve both stood on the podium, and Matt’s nine championship titles bring an incredible depth of experience and winning pedigree to the team.
To have two of Australia’s best riders put their trust in Joe Rascal Racing and in me as their team of choice is something I’m incredibly proud of. We’ve got a strong team, two proven riders and a Ducati Desmo450 MX, and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.
Dylan Wills, Joe Rascal Racing Rider Comments: It’s a huge honour to be part of the first Australian Supercross campaign for the Ducati Desmo450 MX. Joe Rascal Racing and Metty have been working incredibly hard to put a strong program in place for Matt and myself, and everything so far has been unreal.
Matt and I have been best mates and training partners for many years, so the opportunity to finally line up as teammates is something I’m really excited about. We know each other well, we’ve spent a lot of time training and racing together, and I think that relationship will be a real strength for the team.
With only around six weeks until we go racing, it’s all systems go from here. The preparation is ramping up, and I’m more than ready to get behind the gate and start this new chapter with Joe Rascal Racing.

The Ducati feels really comfortable underneath me and suits my forward riding style. It feels like the bike was designed for the way I ride. I’m 100 per cent committed to this program. It’s only five rounds, but there’s a lot that can happen at every race, and I want to be right in the fight when we reach the final round. I’m ready to put everything into the season and give it my best.
